About Green Valley
Green Valley is a private house for up to eight guests at Moravička Sela, in the forested country of Gorski Kotar. This is the inland side of Croatia — cool air, spruce and beech woods, and silence that takes a day or two to get used to.
The house
Four bedrooms across 200 m²: three with large double beds and one with two single beds, which makes it workable for two families or a group of friends. Large windows run along the living area and fill it with light and views of the trees. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is heating throughout, so the house works in winter as well as summer.
Pool, jacuzzi and sauna
Outside there is a heated private pool, a jacuzzi and a terrace with an outdoor dining area. There is also a sauna — a better idea here than on the coast, given the mountain evenings.
Good to know
The sauna, hot tub and jacuzzi are charged separately at €20 per day each. Pets are welcome at €12 per day. Stays of seven nights or more receive a 15% discount.
The area
Gorski Kotar is walking, cycling and mushroom country, with Risnjak National Park and a string of lakes and rivers within easy reach. It is roughly halfway between Zagreb and the sea, which makes it an easy stop in either direction.
