About Helena Garden House
Helena Garden House is a small stone holiday house for two in Okreti, a hamlet near Kanfanar in central Istria. It is the opposite of the big group villas — one bedroom, one couple, and a garden with nobody else in it.
The house
Thirty-five square metres, arranged simply: a bedroom with a large double bed, a bathroom, and a living area with a fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi are all there, and the house has its own private entrance, so nothing is shared.
The garden
The garden is the reason to book this one. There is a terrace with a proper outdoor dining table and a barbecue, surrounded by greenery and woodland rather than neighbours. It faces nature on every side.
The area
Kanfanar sits almost in the middle of Istria, which makes this a good base if you want to see more than one coast. Rovinj is an easy drive, the Lim Fjord is close, and the hill towns of the interior are all within half an hour. You will want a car.
